Installation of Blue Ox Heavy-Duty Universal Bolt-On Adapter Tabs

Question:
I would like to purchase the 20,000lb bolt on blue ox tabsBX88266. I am using a blue ox Aventa II towbar. What is the minimum and maximum distances between the mounting tabs for this towbar setup?

The Blue Ox Heavy-Duty Universal Bolt-On Adapter Tabs # BX88266 have to be mounted in a set position. According to Blue Ox, you must follow the instructions so there is no minimum or maximum distance they can be apart. The instructions state the following:
Locate the center of your bumper and
measure out 10-9/16” to either side. From the
center of that mark measure over 21-1/8” to
the opposite side. Using the inside holes of
the adapter plate as a template, drill 17/32”
holes at the marked points.
