Can The Tekonsha Vehicle Wiring Harness Be Installed on 2020 Kia Sedona Without Brake Controller?

Hello good morning. I have a question: I have a 2020 Kia Sedona, this minivan has the cables to connect a camper ready behind the car, this way you can put a 4-way or 7-way connector. In a YouTube video:etrailer Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2019 Kia Sorento. This video shows how to install a 7-way and also a braking control. The query is If I can install the 7-way one Tekonsha OEM Replacement Vehicle Wiring Harness w Brake Controller Adapter - 7 Way Trailer Connector - TK24FR without initially installing the brake control? If possible, would I have to install only the black cable on the battery?

Yes, if you are not ready to install the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Brake Controller # RED63RR when you install the Tekonsha OEM Replacement Vehicle Wiring Harness # TK24FR on your 2020 Kia Sedona you do not have to install the black battery cable which powers the brake controller. If you know you are going to install the brake controller sooner than later you might just go ahead and connect the wire to the battery and into the rest of the harness. Then just remove the fuse so when you are ready for the controller you only need to reinsert the fuse to power the Brake Controller # RED63RR.
