Spare Tire Mount Recommendation with Extra Offset

Published 04/18/2014

Question:

I need a spare tire mount for a trailer. The 15inch wheels are 5 bolt and the spacing needed is 4 3/4. The distance needed between the trailer mounting plate and the tire mounting plate is 6. The horizontal rise between the center of the trailer mounting plate and the tire mounting plate can be between 2inch and 6inch The intent is to mount the spare tire to the front center of the trailer frame. The bracket will be bolted to the 2inch x 4inch frame.

I believe I have a solution for you, but I am going to need you to verify your bolt pattern since the only bolt pattern it wouldn't fit is 5 on 4-3/4. I attached an FAQ on determining bolt patterns for you to check out also.

Check out the picture I attached. This is the only spare tire carrier we offer that fits the dimensions you requested. The hardest one being the 6 inches from the frame surface to the wheel surface.
