2013 chevy express van without factory trailer harness. I have 4 wires going to the brake pedal switch. which wire do I connect to

Helpful Expert Reply:
The correct wire that you will need when installing the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller, # 90195, on your 2013 Chevrolet Express Van is actually located behind the passenger side dash. This is the location of the Body Control Module (BCM) on the Express Van. In order to access the BCM, you will need to remove the lower section of the dash on the passenger side of the vehicle. You will need the light blue with white stripe wire that is coming out of the brown connector.
Before making any connections, it is always a good idea to test the wire using a circuit tester, like part # PTW2993, to make sure that you have the correct wire. You will want to make sure you use the wire that only shows power when the brake pedal is pressed.
I have attached a picture that shows what wire you will be looking for.
