Upgraded Trailer Axle Solution for 4x8 Harbor Freight Trailer

Question:
Hi, Ive got a 4x8 Harbor Freight trailer that I am planning on using for a 5x8 camper build. I would like to widen and upgrade the axle to probably a 3500lb one with larger wheels and tires. Need recommendation for the proper axle. The spring centers are at 46.

We don't have a standard axle that fits based on the spring seat center dimension you listed so your best option would be the Timbren Axle Less kit part # ASR35HDS02 which has a 3,500 lb capacity, a 4 inch lift built into it, and also attaches directly to the trailer frame and uses a rubber spring instead of leaf springs.
