Question:
What should i use for a Non combustible backing board for a 3000 watt inverter on an RV

Expert Reply:
To mount your 3,000 watt inverter you can use a sheet of aluminum or steel that's just heavy enough of a gauge to not bend under the weight of the inverter or you can get a cement board from your local hardware store and cut it down to size. I recommend checking out the HVAC section of your local hardware store as there will typically be some sheets of steel/aluminum that would be cheap enough to not break the bank and thin enough to not add unnecessary weight to the trailer.
