Question:
HI, I have a big buddy hose with regulator that connects to the propane tank on trailer frame and then runs to Big Buddy with a low pressure quick connect. I also have a Starlink. i have a Coleman 17B trailer. I want a waterproof way to pass the quick connect and the Starlink cable from the outside of the trailer to inside. I was thinking of using a power cord hatch but they dont claim to be waterproof. Is there a better hatch or gland or port or whatever that i could use to route these temporary connections?

We have the Multi-Purpose Access Door for RVs, # 37231025. This is a 6-3/4" diameter hatch that requires a 5-1/2" diameter cutout. This threaded design easily twists off to provide instant access to plumbing, electrical, hose, fuel, and cargo compartments. The waterproof seal prevents leakage to help keep your RV dry. You can use the RV Cable Hatch Installation Kit, # 3724195 with 3' of premium butyl tape and white screws.
I always prefer to cover any potential place of leaking with a sealant such as the LaSalle Bristol XTRM # 344270341437-1 for a non-sag sealant and # 34427034145-1 for a self-leveling option.
We highly recommend, for safety reasons, that all propane lines be installed by trained professionals. When towing an RV, the continuous movement within the trailer will subject the wiring, water and propane lines to potential wear and damage different than that of a residential facility. Trained professionals understand these differences and are aware of the regulations. That being stated, propane lines are typically run through cuts in the RV and sealed using the LaSalle Bristol XTRM # 344270341437-1 or similar sealant and there are regulations of what type of line can be used.
The SmartPlug RV/Marine Data Port Inlet - Blank and Open Port - Stainless Steel# SM36MJ and then you would need to add Keystone Single Jack Ethernet Connector for SmartPlug Data Port Inlet - Qty 1 # SM38MJ. There is an integrated seal inside the cover that keeps the elements out when not in use. The external metals are marine-grade 316 stainless steel.
