Question:

Hi, We have a 2017 Jayco Jayflight SLX. I am looking for an extended hand rail but cant seem to find one that will mount on the corrugated sides. We have MO Ride steps but the hand rail for those is not ideal because sometimes I store the steps in the back of the truck while traveling and I would prefer not having to remove amd re-nstall the railing each time. Do you have any recommendations? Thank you,

The first thing that comes to mind is a folding grab handle since it will permanently install to the side of the camper. A really good option is the Lend-a-Hand Extra Large Folding Grab Handle # AM-533. The handle itself is 37" tall and 25-1/2" wide so there is plenty of railing to grab on to. It can be installed on either flat or corrugated surfaces, you just want to be sure it is secured to the wood framing or a wall stud. The picture below shows one installed on a camper very similar to yours with corrugated sides.

These rails are available in smaller sizes if needed, like the # AM-800 which is 24" tall and 14" wide. It really just depends on the size of your step and where you want the hand rail to be positioned.
