I am looking for an adapter which I can use on my 2011 Porsche Cayenne with factory trailer harness which will allow me to plug in a 4 way flat trailer harness with old school lights incandescent.

The Pollak 7 Pole to 4 Way Connector Adapter # PK12716 will allow you to connect to the 7-way on your 2011 Porsche Cayenne and connect to your trailer with a 4-way flat connector. This does not have the resistors like the Curt Adapter # C35FR you found which is to be used on trailers with LED tail lights.
