Recommended Hitch and Wiring for 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer

Question:

I'm looking at adding a hitch to my 2024 Trailblazer. Think I'll end up going with the Draw-Tite but I thought I would see what you recommend. I also need to add a connection for my trailer lights. Thanks for the help.

I recommend the same Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT55GR you were looking at for your 2024 Chevy Trailblazer. This Class III hitch has a bolt-on installation and concealed cross tube for a nice clean look. It has a max gross trailer weight of 3,,500 lbs, max tongue weight of 525 lbs, and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.

For wiring you have a few choices based on your tail lights. If you have LED lights you need the # TK26VR. If you have incandescent lights then you need the # TK39FR instead. Both of these plug into the connection points behind the rear tail lights. If you have the tow package with the Active Towplug located in the rear cargo area then you can use the # TK88VR. All of these will provide you with a 4-way to power your trailer's signal lights.
