Hi, I need your help please, 1st off Im a RV tech, master certified going on 35 years now, AND I got a 97 minni winne here that has me dumbfounded, YOU seem to have the parts I need so please read here below for details and send me your listing for correct part for me to purchase from you 1 - This 97 minni winne with Kwikee series 32 steps with old style gear box # 151320 and NO motor plus control unit is missing. This gear box is the kind that used the old style motor not like 379147 2 - I purchased from you NEW motor # 379147 Order #120253956 Placed: 11/29/2023 8:04:21 PM Central Standard Time and I had used gear box which the 379147 motor mounts - 3 - I got a used controller new style from a 2006 Fleetwood 909510001 / 1800709 4 - Original door magnet switch on RV reads with ohm meter, door shut - switch open and door open - switch closed 5 - Everything now installed and wired, color code matched and everything works backwards. Step light on with steps in, steps in door open and steps out door closed 6 - This tells me I need a switch that works opposite - switch closed with door shut and switch open with door open. This is such a simple thing that has me stupid, I read you got magnet switchs that are normally open or normally closed so which one do I need as outline on # 6 door shut switch closed Im guessing your switch normally closedinch means the switch is closed with door shut ? and if so that is the switch I need I want to thank you in advance and Im ready to buy as soon as you let me know what switch I need Larry

The manufacturer isn't very helpful when it comes to the switches so I pulled some and tested them myself to see if they are normally open or closed using a multimeter # PT89ZR. Each of the following switches all show resistance when the magnets are touching (door closed), you'll just want to note the size/shape (round/rectangle) to choose the correct option:
# LC369299 (this is just the magnets and doesn't include the switch)
# LC369311 (magnets, switch, cover plate for switch)
# LC375385 (round 1-1/4" deep sensor)
# LC378054 (round 1-1/8" deep x 3/4" diameter)
If you these don't match the shape, size, or color of your current switch then send me some pictures and I'd be happy to try to identify the right fit to match up with your motorhome's door. I've also listed out the correct replacement parts for a 32 series Kwikee step incase you end up having any other issues later on down the road and need the replacement without having to search for it.
