Question:

On second though I am not liking the look of any roof rack for my 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV. What options do you have for a hitch and bike rack for a 30 lbs bike.

To add a hitch to your 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV, I recommend the Curt item # C38DR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Bolt with included hardware. It is a class III hitch, with a 2" receiver, that has a 300 lbs maximum tongue weight.

The crosstube on the Curt item # C38DR mounts behind your rear bumper cover leaving only the 2" receiver visible which will make this a great hitch for accessories like a bike rack.

For a compatible bike rack you will want the Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack item # HLY94FR. This bike rack has a 35 lbs per bike capacity and fits tires up to 3" wide. It uses padded cradles with ratchet straps to grip your bikes by the downtubes or top tubes. The clamps slide up and down and rotate to fit almost any bike.
