OK,got my backplate off.Center hole measures 3.5 inches. 4 hole spacing to mount is correct according to QandA forum. My hub measures 2.25 x 12 ,brake shoe 2 inches. Should I be looking at different backplate ??

Your dimensions are a little unique but I would assume you have an AL KO brand axle with a 6k axle and the correct assemblies would be the part # 23-105-09 and # 23-106-09. This is 12 inch in diameter assembly that can attach with a 4 or 5 lug bolt pattern. I would recommend checking the axles for a tag that has it's capacity listed or see if there's a part number you can see on old assemblies/hubs to verify this.
