Question:
Im looking to replace my Kelsey trailer brakes as the magnets on two axles are dead and parts are no longer available. I noticed in some of old post that you used sell a complete assembly labeled as Hayes/AL-KO 12 x 2 electric brakes part 185100-150inch but that part number no longer works on your website, is there a new part number?

Hello Robert, thanks for reahcing out. Those 185100-150 brakes you mentioner are an older part that has been discontinued. We sold our last ones early 2024 and we will not be getting more stock.
We do still have the Dexter Electric Trailer Brakes # 23-105-106-09 which are for the AL-KO/Hayes Axles, just they are the 6K version. This would still be an acceptable substitute since they use the same bolt pattern. Just not quite as much stopping power and weight capacity as the discontinued 7K. They are the same 12" x 2" brake shoes.
Leave a reply below with any other questions or comments and I will get back to you.

Hey Robert, how did the Dexter 12 x 2 electric brakes work out as a replacement for your old Kelsey setup? Your update could make it easier for the next person trying to match discontinued Hayes/AL-KO brakes.
