For a hitch that mounts behind the bumper cover on a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee, I recommend the Draw-Tite item # DT42GR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Jeep with included hardware. This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a 7,500 lbs towing capacity with an 1,125 lbs maximum tongue weight.
If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C27BR and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
