How Should BAKFlip MX4 Hard Tonneau Cover Be Positioned On 2022 Ram 2500 When Towing a 5TH Wheel?

Question:

What does the Backflip MX4 look like when traveling with a fifth wheel? Is it lying down in the box or sitting up? If sitting up how do they stay put?

For your 2022 Ram 2500 crew cab you will need either the BAKFlip MX4 Hard Tonneau Cover # BAK48203 for the 6-1/2' bed or the # BAK48204 if you have an 8' bed. When using these with a 5th wheel hitch you will want to have the cover folded up and laying in the front storage position but not flipped up. If the cover were flipped up you would run into turning clearance issues since the cover reduces cab clearances when flipped up.

Do understand you may need to adjust your 5th wheel hitch and pin box to ensure you have enough clearances both when towing and to allow the cover to fold over the 5th wheel hitch.
