Hey there Harry, that's a good question, as the difference is the strength of the aluminum vs. polycarbonate Retrax tonneau covers that fit your 2024 Ram 3500 with a 6-1/2 foot bed.

The aluminum RetraxPRO MX Hard Tonneau Cover # RT80232 has the most strength, with a 500 lb weight capacity; its aluminum construction also means it isn't going to rust so it's the toughest of the two.

The polycarbonate RetraxONE MX Hard Tonneau Cover # RT60232 isn't exactly frail, but its weight capacity is 200 lbs so quite a bit less than the aluminum, so it just isn't quite as rugged. But it does have a better price point than the RetraxPRO and the same lifetime warranty, so it's really just whatever you're most comfortable with.
