do i have to do any trimming to the underside of the fascia on my 2024 mitsubishi outlander PHEV to install the curt hitch

You do not; no trimming of the fascia whatsoever is required on your 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV to install the Curt hitch that fits, which is the following part number:

- Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C86FV

I also wanted to mention, if you need a 4-way wiring harness for this vehicle the correct part is # C56434.
