I am looking for information on what I need to flat tow a 2020 Ford Escape Hybrid. Any help in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

To flat tow a 2020 Ford Escape Hybrid you'll need the following components:

Baseplate: Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM39FR.

Tow Bar: etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plates # e74ZR. This tow bar comes with safety cables included and has an adjustable head to help keep the tow bar level between the motorhome and Escape.

Tow Bar Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. This diode kit will splice into your Escape's tail light wiring to display your motorhome's traffic signals through the Escape tail lights.

Since your battery will drain while you tow you'll want to also install a charge line kit # RM-156-25 to keep it topped off.

Braking System: If you motorhome has hyrdaulic brakes then you'll want the Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO # SM99251. If it has air brakes then you'll need the Demco Air Force One # SM99243 instead.

To prevent the Escape's brake signal from overriding the turn signal from the RV when applying the brakes during a turn you'll also need to install the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-88400.
