What is Weight Capacity of Thule Epos 3-Bike Rack

Question:

what is the weight capacity of the Thule Epos 3-bike rack? it says total is 160 lbs but max is 66 lbs per bike? I'm admittedly not great at math but my phone's calculator says 66 x 3 is 198.

Excellent question, and I think I can clear up any confusion about the weight capacity of the Thule Epos Bike Rack for 3 Bikes # TH69XE.

The weight capacity is 160 lbs like it says, but that is just the max of all three bikes combined. So you can have three bikes that each weigh 50 lbs. But the maximum any single bike on the rack can weigh is 66 lbs. Let's say you just wanted to go riding by yourself and your bike weighed 66 lbs - you can! But you could NOT take three bikes that each weigh 66 lbs as that would be, like you said, 198 lbs.

So with the # TH69XE your three bikes can weigh a maximum of 160 lbs. But so long as you are within that range, one (or two) of the bikes can weigh up to 66 lbs.
