Question:
Live Chat no help. I have a 2005 Four Winns trailer which was self manufactured by Four Winns. I can not find original manufacturer of the brake actuator. The inside dimensions of the tongue are 3 1/8 by 4 1/8. will item# DX29FR Dexter .5LA-60 fit inside the tongue? Outside dimension is 31/2 by 4 1/2. Sorry I do not have a photo. Do you have an alternative to fit my trailer? I didnt see anything. Many thanks.

If you have a coupler actuator that looks like the # DX29FR but it mounts inside the channel on the trailer frame what you would most likely actually want is the inner member of this coupler with the part # DX99FR. This is the inner section of the Dexter actuator which it sounds like you have the outer section welded to your trailer frame.

Follow up to my earlier request for help. I finally got to the repair and have found only a serial number. It is a Tie Down Engineering Serial number 071399. Only two other identifying marks; on the cylinder itself is "TDE" which i assume is for tie down, and on the reverse solenoid is "P/N 11253R". I know its not much but maybe it will help find a replacement. I have picyures if you are able to accept them. Many thanks
