I only need to use 6 of the tpms sensors. If I order multiple head units will the 4 extra be programmable to other head units?

Yes, the extra sensors included in the TireMinder A1AS TPMS for RVs and Trailers w/ Signal Booster # TM79FR can be used with other controllers. The sensors are synced when you get them so you'd have to go through the pairing process like normal.
