Helpful Expert Reply:
For your 2018 Ford F-150 4x4, the better option between the RoadActive and SuperSprings # SSA28 is the former, the RoadActive, because it provides more benefit, such as eliminating axle wrap and wheel hop (which is when the tires lose their grip due to a heavy load causing the leaf springs to twist). Additionally, the RoadActive is more customizable with a pair of different kits with different weight capacities depending on how much sag you have:
- 2,000 lb Capacity & Up To 1" of Sag: RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit # RAS3611-Y
- 3,000 lb Capacity & Up To 2" - 3" of Sag: RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit - Heavy Duty # RAS3611-YHD
I think the best thing to do is if you are using a weight distribution hitch, go with the lighter, 2k capacity as you'll be more level and likely not have as much sag. But if you aren't using a WDH go with the heavier duty option.
