Can Pigtail Wiring be Added to Bright Way Charger BW94FR for Charging When Parked
Published 09/12/2023 >
Question:
Hi I have a couple questions. Would it be a bad idea to pigtail off the positive and negative battery wires? That way I can easily charge the battery without opening the box. Would that take away from the performance of the breakaway kit with 2 open wires when not being charged? Also is there a replacement box I can purchase? One of the posts broke on the pivot point for the door and it doesn’t seal properly. Thanks for our help.

It wouldn't be a problem to run a pigtail off of the positive and negative wires of the Bright Way battery charger # BW94FR so that you can charge it when easily when not being towed. That wouldn't affect anything at all.
A replacement box is not available at this time.
