What hard wire brake controller do you recommend for my 2024 Subaru Outback?

I recommend using the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED24FR on your 2024 Subaru Outback. This uses a small dash mounted control knob which allows you to make adjustments to the braking force. It is a proportional controller so it has an inertia sensor which automatically adjusts the power sent to the trailer for light or panic braking situations. You will need the Universal Wiring Harness # RED69FR to connect the controller.

If you already have a 7-way you will need the Wiring Kit # 5506 to connect the controller.

If you have a 4-Way # C56040 the 7-Way Upgrade Kit # ETBC7 will provide you with the wiring needed for the controller as well as a 7-way which will connect to your existing 4-way.
