Question:
I am looking to replace a tire on my boat trailer. Can you recommend a middle tier tire as a replacement? It is currently a Loadstar K550 ST225/75 D14 g78-14. Thank you!

I may have a potential option for you, but unfortunately we do not offer any 225/75-14 tires at this time. The closest thing we have is a 215-75-14. So a very similar size, but slightly smaller than what you have now. You would need to replace all of the tires, instead of just one. If you decide to go that route I recommend the Provider # TTWTRTM2157514D. This is a very solid radial trailer tire rated for 2,200 lbs at 65 PSI. I have always considered these Taskmaster Provider tires to be a reliable middle range option. A step up from "less expensive" tires, and a step under the name brand US made tires like Goodyear.
