Can Curt Wiring Harness Power Wire Connect to 2023 Ford Bronco Auxiliary Switch

On my 2023 Ford Bronco and the quick connect wiring harness for my trailer instead of running the red wire to the battery could it be run to one of the auxiliary switches in the Bronco for an already fused hook up?

I reached out to Curt about this and they said the power wire for the # C42WR must run directly to the battery. It would be really convenient if it worked with the auxiliary switches, but you would potentially blow the fuses and cause other problems with your 2023 Ford Bronco if you installed it that way.
