I reached out to Stealth Hitches to determine if they have ever heard of something like this happening and it was new to them. I as well am confused as I have never hear of something like this happening before. Typically with any kind of hitch rattle issue with no parts in the receiver it is caused by a heat shield, part of the exhaust or fascia that needs to be modified because it is hitting the receiver. Stealth Hitches confirmed as long as the block is bolted correctly there is nothing in it that would cause a rattle. I recommend checking for any areas on your vehicle where the receiver may be coming into contact with part of the vehicle. Also please let me know which receiver you have along with the vehicle it is mounted on so I can look for any related issues we may have seen with other receivers.
