Excellent hitch. Works as proposed
Great product - was hesitant at first because it was nearly double the price of other options, however, to have the ability of not seeing a hitch on the back of my BMW X5 M sport was more than worth the price. I actually tackled the installation myself due to a quote of nearly $400 at my local shop. I knocked it out in just a tad over an hour by myself in my garage with nothing more than a trim removal kit, some tools I already have, and the tutorial video they provide. Pumped to finally have a hitch for my bike racks on the back of my X5 instead of constantly using my wife’s SUV that we fitted with a cheaper hitch.

Still one the best purchases I’ve made for my vehicle - bike rack goes on and off the SUV at least once a week and being able to remove the hitch for a clean look afterwards is worth the price.
This hitch fits perfectly well my 2017 BMW X5 M Performance package. I used a professional body shop for installation but a friend of mine had the same one and he was able to install it himself. The product is sturdy, and has allowed me to carry a bike rack as intended. Read about weight limits to be sure it safely meets your needs. The lock comes with two keys. Amazing product with great online descriptions that allows you to be certain about your vehicle’s requirement and compatibility.

I still use this product all year round. It’s easily removable and hides well beneath the rear bumper. If I ever buy a car without a hitch, I will immediately add this device to it.
