Question:

I need a hidden hitch for a 2015 VW Golf TDI. I see from comments that a lot of folks are happy with Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4 # C11412 But it is not hidden. I don't want it seen so much. What about the 306-X7332? I need it to also work on a regular Golf TDI SE? 2015? Whatcha got?

I do have some trailer hitches that are hidden for your 2015 Volkswagen Golf TDI but # 306-X7332 will not fit.

I recommend going with the EcoHitch # 306-X7310. Once this hitch is installed only the receiver will be visible. This is a 1-1/4 inch Class I trailer hitches. If you want a 2 inch hitch then I recommend # 306-X7309 instead. If you go with the 2-inch, you will have more accessories to choose from.

If you want to use the hitch for an accessory such as a bike rack or cargo carrier then you have to make sure the accessory is rated for use with a Class I trailer hitch. Also, with a bike rack, you are limited to 2 bikes maximum on a Class I hitch. I have linked the Class I compatible 2-bike racks and cargo carriers for you.

I still recommend following this for the 2 inch hitch, if you choose it, since the only thing different about it is the receiver size.
