Question:

I need a base plate for a 2007 GMC Envoy Denali. I only see Blue Ox, but I have a roadmaster towbar. What do you recommend?

You can still use a Blue Ox base plate like the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX1709 you're looking at. You're just going to need to also use an adapter like # RM-031 or # RM-031-5.

The adapter you need will be dependent on the Roadmaster tow bar you have. So if you have the Blackhawk, Falcon, or Sterling tow bars, you'd need # RM-031, but if you had the Nighthawk, Sterling, or Blackhawk 2 All-Terrain you'd need # RM-031-5.

To finish up a complete flat towing setup, you're going to also need a braking system # SM99251 with a brake light relay # RM-88400, as well as a wiring kit # RM-15267.
