Question:
When I connect the tester, the truck it should detect the tester as a tailer connected to the truck? ALL the lights are working as they should but my truck do not detect the tester tool as a trailer connected and also when I squeeze the hand brake controller I get a message saying trailer cont connected.

We've heard of this from Ram owners as well, so the Curt 7-Way to RV Socket LED Circuit Tester - Vehicle End # C66NR won't be detected as a trailer being connected on your Ford. Our customers have success with the Pollak 7-Way to RV Socket LED Circuit Tester - Vehicle End # PK12741 so I recommend going that route.
