Can I Use A Standard Pin And Clip With The Fastway Ball Mount FA42-00-2825

Im considering the FA42-00-2825 receiver hitch. I would be removing the hitch after each use so no worry of theft. Cant a traditional pin work with this?

Yes you can absolutely use a standard pin and clip with the Fastway # FA42-00-2825. Any 5/8" diameter pin with at least 3-5/8" of usable space will do fine. I recommend the Gen-Y hitch pin # 325-GH-099. This will be very similar to the pin and clip that comes with the Fastway # FA42-00-2825. If you have no need for a lock it will do just fine.
