You will use metal screws to install the etrailer Horizontal E-Track # e42VR.

You'll also need backing plates to install this e-track and the mounting hardware is actually included with the etrailer E-Track Backing Plates with Hardware # e76YR.

The hardware included with the # e76YR is for surfaces up to 2 inches thick; if you happen to have a trailer with a thicker surface you'd just need to get the appropriate length 1/4”-20, Grade 5 screws.
