These steel backing plates for the 8' E-track in your enclosed trailer provide more support than just securing it with using wood or metal screws. Bolt each plate to your E-track on the opposite side of the wall or under the floor.

These backing plates provide more support for your E-track (sold separately) than only using wood or metal screws. Simply put, they allow the pulling force to be distributed over a greater area. This prevents your mower, ATV, or other heavy object from pulling your E-track away from its mounting surface and tearing up your trailer's wall or floor. They're perfect for trailers with thin walls or floors.
Pre-drilled holes accommodate the standard 4-bolt mounting pattern found on most horizontal or vertical E-tracks. There are also holes to accommodate D-rings, Snap-Locs, and odd-shaped tie-down anchors.
To install, drill pilot holes in your mounting surface as close as you can to each end of your E-track and directly in the middle so that the plates will be evenly spaced. Place your E-track where you're mounting it and insert the included bolts. On the opposite side of your wall or floor, place the plates over the bolts and secure them using the included washers and nylon lock nuts.

great product very easy install , thick galvanized coating on sturdy plate that holds my E- Track system extremely tight. I used 6 plates for a 6' long piece.
Makes the E-track in our trailer to tie down our side-by-side sturdy without drilling or screwing into the frame rails.
Shipping was very fast even recieved before date due to arrive.Plates worked well with my DC Cargo vertical etracks. Good quality and was easy to install . Definitely would recommend when using on trailer deck or flooring that is 1/2 -5/8 thick .
Used these plates and the included hardware as a backer to the (Erickson ATV E-Track Tie-Down Kit w/ Ratchet Straps and Wheel Chocks - 1,500 lbs - 4 Wheel Set) Item #EM98CV. They are too small to accommodate all 6 screw holes, but still worked out perfectly for me. I was able to get 4 of the 6 bolts through the plate by drilling 2 new holes before installation.
Product worked exactly as advertised. I already have a few more purchases in mind.

The backing plates from eTrailer have worked out perfectly for attaching E-track to the load floor of our cargo trailer, which allows cargo to be immobilized for travel. After 1 year's use, there have been no problems with the E-track or the backing plates, and I tie down my Honda scooter very tightly when hauling it.
Well-made plates with good, Grade 5 bolts and hardware.

The product is still performing flawlessly, great purchase.
These backing plates are an excellent addition for securing etracks to a wood floor. In my case my trailer. They are thicker than expected, the mounting hole arrangement gives flexibility in mounting, and the hardware is a perfect match for etracks. All of this makes installing etracks easier with the confidence your load will be secure. I’ll buy again.

I think they are a must have for etracks on utility trailers. I use mine to secure my golf cart and mower and they prevent any mount hardware issues. Without doubt I would buy these again.
Worked good and provide some great confidence that the load is well distributed on the sub floor. I paired these with drilling individual wholes and using 1/4” bolts and nuts with fender washers to distribute all the way down the plywood in our toy hauler. I felt these were a little pricey, but looking back a year later, glad I did the install with them.
There’s nothing very special about the backing plates. I like that they have multiple hole locations for various E-track devices.

Worked out great, I have a wood floor on trailer, so I installed the backing plates too. The machine don’t move an inch ! Nice product!!
These backing plates were just what I needed to secure Etrack moveable tie-downs to the floor of our new cargo trailer. On "normal" camping outings, they secure my 300-lb. Honda motor scooter, my 200-lb. handicap scooter, & our 75-lb. ice chest to the floor of the trailer, and they and the E-track attached to the inside walls of the trailer have been used to secure various other loads that we have needed to haul. They have now worked well for a year with absolutely no problems.

1 year after installation in our cargo trailer, I am still sold on these backing plates. They have allowed cargo to be secured in our cargo trailer without any issues.
Plates are just what you need for the chock brackets for that extra

These E-tracks installed relatively easily on my new trailer using the available backing plates. Total install of 18' of track took less than 4 hours - a one man job except for the final tightening of the bolts included in the backing plate kit.
The backing plates seem like good quality, Look at where you want to install to make their is no interference it was an easy install
No issues installing the E-Track backer plates This is the second enclosed trailer I've installed these on.
Works great! Under my enclosed trailer there’s lots of places I couldn’t get more than 2 bolts on the bracket but still plenty strong for my street bike.
They work very well. I have had them installed for a year and am still very pleased with their fit, function, and ability to provide me with a sense of security about the e-tracks in my utility trailer while hauling my motorcycle. I used 3 per 5-foot section and feel much more confident than just screws.

Solid, and durable. Appear to be holding up well after a year.
Makes installing the E-Tracks easier and certainly makes the installation stronger
Multiple configurations for mounting makes these backing plates very user friendly! And their shipping was almost instantaneous, thank you!

Product is still like brand new. Works great! I hit a deer while hauling my trailer with my side x side in it and my side x side never moved. The tires on the side x side were strapped to the etrack on the floor of the trailer. This back plate holds the etrack down to the floor and performed flawlessly.
