The Progressive Dynamics 1000 Watt Pure Sine Wave Inverter # PD34FR has specific wire gauge requirements depending on the wattage of the model and length the wire is being ran. There's no guide that tells us what gauge wire was used with your Tripp Lite 750 Watt Inverter so you'll need to check the gauge and replace as necessary based on the chart I have attached below.
