Replacement Bearings And Grease Seals For A 1996 Shorelandr Boat Trailer

Question:

Hi, Im looking for wheel bearing kits for an old boat trailer. I removed the old bearings and both the inner and outer bearings appear to be size L44649. What do you recommend?

If both your inner and outer bearings are # L44649 then you most likely have a BTR spindle and would need a # 10-9 grease seal. You can check the spindle at point B for the inner diameter and the inside of the hub for the outer diameter of the seal. If you get 1.719" on the spindle and 2.565" for the hub interior then the # 10-9 would be the correct seal. It doesn't appear that we currently offer an all-in-one kit for this combination so you would need to purchase them separately (4 of # L44649 and 2 of #10-9) in order to replace your current bearings and seals.
