What Would Cause Furrion Vision S to Lose Signal Intermittently
Published 07/11/2023 >
Question:
My Furrion monitor works intermittently. The camera feed comes on for a time and then goes off but then might come on again. The monitor never loses power, just the video connection. Camera installed on 2020 Stratus trailer that came with Furrion connections.

For the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera System part # FOS43TASF, there are a few things that can cause the rear camera to lose signal while traveling. I first recommend checking the antenna on the camera to ensure it's pointed towards the monitor as best as possible. It may also be necessary to move the camera and or monitor to a clearer line of sight from one another. If the truck or trailer has aluminum panels like an F-150 or Airstream this can cause signal interference, make sure all electronics inside the trailer are powered down as well.
