I have 2016 BMW X5 standardcl model. My trailer has a 5 prong connector because the reverse lights are used to disengage trailer surge brakes. I dont see 5 prong?

In order to add a 5-way harness to your X5 you'll need to use the Curt Trailer Connector Adapter item # C57187 with a 4-way connector like the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter item # C59236 you were looking at. I am sorry but they don't make vehicle specific 5-way wiring harnesses which is why you need the adapter.
If your vehicle has a 7-way connector you will want to use the Wesbar Adapter item # 707250.
