Question:
I have a vehicle that needs to have 3 fuses removed to flat tow 1#50 amp battery. 2 #15 amp ecm and on star fuses. Would this require 3 fuse bypass kits? Also if I run a charge wire kit to the battery is it still necessary to remove fuses?

Helpful Expert Reply:
You will need to use two different fuse bypass kits; the Roadmaster FuseMaster # RM76514 has two fuse holders for the both the ONSTAR and ECM fuse and the Roadmaster FuseMaster # RM-76517 for the BATT1 fuse. These fuses do more than just drain the battery and would still need to be removed regardless if you installed the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25. I do still recommend installing a charge line to save yourself from any dead battery issues, but you'll still need to pull the fuses.
