Will the Tow Ready T-1 Connector Work on a 2008 Toyota Tacoma X-Runner With LED Tail Lights

The first t-one unit the installer he was working with Draw-Tite tried made my ABS system fault when brakes were applied, with LED tailight units installed on the truck. Next installed a powered converter unit that worked properly when installed. A year later when I went to use the trailer for the first time, the module had shorted out or something. The brake lights stay on all the time, even with the truck shut off and no lights on. The unit on the truck now is a Tow Ready Modulite Protector #17499-204. It has the power wire running up to the battery. Cant locate that unit on your site or Draw-Tites site. Dont really want to install that unit again since it crapped out before I even pulled the trailer. Any suggestions as to what will actually work and last some time on the X-Runner? Will part # 30127 work with LED tailight units installed on the truck?

The problems you have experienced tend to indicate a wiring problem on the trailer itself. Since the current converter you have is shorted out, you should begin by troubleshooting your trailer wiring before installing a new converter. Failure to do so could result in shorting out your new converter.
Start at the trailer connector, make sure it is not damaged or corroded. Trace each circuit back to its fixture, looking for pinched or broken wires. Check the wiring insulation for worn spots or cracks that would allow the copper conductor to short out on the trailer frame or other metal.
As far as the trailer wiring harness on your Tacoma is concerned, I would go with the ZCI Circuit Protected, # 119250KIT. This is my go-to harness for vehicles that have compatibility issues. It is compatible with LED taillights and has higher amperage ratings than most other wiring harnesses. You may also need a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 when completing the installation.
