Can Tow Loops be Used In Place of the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX1133

Question:
Since it bolts to the AEV tow loop,as shown in installation photo can I just connect my tow bar to the AEV tow loops.

I wish it was that easy! But no you can use the tow loops in place of a base plate kit like the Blue Ox part # BX1133.
