Question:

I have a 2017 Jeep Wrangler unlimited Winter Edition. I have the Roadmaster Falcon 2 tow bar. When I purchased the RV the guy gave me the tow system, it left the base plate on his car. Do you have a Blue Ox base plate that would fit it, then use adapters? Under my bumper are flat triangle like plates with two holes. Can you Please tell me if I can do this, and exactly what parts I would need to purchase from you. Thank you, Happy New Year

The base plate kit we carry to fit your 2017 Jeep Wrangler Winter Edition is Blue Ox # BX1133. It's the only kit we offer that fits the Winter Edition.

In addition to the base plate kit you'll also need a tow bar, wiring, a supplemental braking system, and likely a high-low adapter.

To pair with the Blue Ox base plate kit I recommend the Avail # BX7420 for a tow bar. It has a higher weight capacity than most at 10,000 pounds. Also, the safety cables are included.

To power the Jeep's lights I suggest the diode kit # RM-15267. This will use the vehicle's tail lights by connecting to the RV's and includes the cord to go between the two.

For a supplemental braking system the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO # SM99251 is a favorite around here because of how reliable it is and it's easier to install than many other permanently installed systems. You'll also need the Brake-Lite Relay # RM-88400 to keep the Jeep's lights from overriding the RV's.

Finally, you'll likely need a high-low adapter. I've attached an article to help you determine the correct rise or drop your setup requires. I've also linked our selection of adapters for you to look at once you know what you need.

Since you have a Roadmaster Falcon Tow Bar part # RM-520 already and the only base plate kit that is confirmed to fit the Winter Edition is a Blue Ox what you'd need is the adapter part # RM-031 which allows a Roadmaster tow bar to connect to Blue Ox base plates.
