Question:

I want to switch 2-5/16 ball to 2 “ ball on one of these hitches. I understand I need to rent/borrow a torque wrench/setup to get to 450ft/lbs to do the switch. - 2P Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control # c69jr curt also Allows Backing Up - Pro Round Bar Weight Distribution w Sway Control # RE44FR Reese So I will want to order my own separate 2” ball from you, but I need to know what Shank diameter the two above hitches take is it 5/8”, ¾ “ , 1” , 1 ¼ “ ? Another question does the “# RE44FR Reese” allow backing up?

Both the Curt TruTrack 2P Weight Distribution System # C69JR and Reese Pro Round Bar Weight Distribution # RE44FR are going to use a 2-5/16" Ball # C40030 with a 1-1/4" shank. You will want to use the 2" Ball # A-90 to switch to a 2" hitch ball.

You are able to back up with the Reese # RE44FR.
