Question:

I am looking to put this on a 11,400 GVW pull behind Forrest River Wildwood Heritage Glen 310BHI and I need a fully automatic leveling vs using two of the UF39-941705 manual system that experts at etrailer suggested a few weeks ago. Can I use the lippert 4-point ground control system 3.0 Item # LC358590 with 4 of the rear jacksinch vs two small and two tall. this would have two left rear on the left side and two right rear on the right side. as I understand it would require purchase of extra components like two more brackets Item # LC349975 and two small jacks a r/h Item # LC428493 and L/H Item # LC305339 jack. Guess the real question is can a LR go into the LF position on the controller board, is it the plug color, plug style or just position/slot on the pc board that makes the controller know what it is in control of.

The Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel RV Leveling System w Touchpad and Remote - 4-Point Set # LC358590 isn't designed to be used on a travel trailer with the landing gear legs swapped out for smaller rear jack legs. Lippert does make a version designed for a travel trailer (part # LC672136 ) but it has a 10,000lb capacity so you'd be over that.

The controller wouldn't be able to communicate properly with the legs so it would just keep throwing up error codes and wouldn't let you extend the jacks. The placement of the jack legs is also very specific to be able handle the weight of the trailer, and with these being designed for a 5th wheel they would require too much modification to the trailer. Since it's out of the intended use Lippert would also never approve any warranty work or replacement parts for you so you'd be taking a big risk in the event that something breaks or if have any technical issues with the system.

The best solution currently is just the Ultra-Fab Power Twin II Electric Stabilizer with Dual Motors # UF39-941705 since it's one of the only electric stabilizer jacks that can also be used for leveling.
