How To Remove Cupholder From 2019 Thomas Payne Seismic Recliners

Question:

Hello, I have a dual 2019 Thomas payne recliners electric one recliner has stopped closing, all other buttons work but not the close button. I saw your previous answer to swap out the cup holders to troubleshoot, my question is how does the cup holder come out? Mine seems to be solidly in place and I see no screws. Thank you

To remove the Cupholder # LC38FR on your 2019 Thomas Payne you will first insert a 1/2" flathead screwdriver or a butter knife into one of the two slots located at 9:30 and 11:30 on the plastic cupholder rings. Then twist the tool to pop off the plastic ring, making sure the lock button does not fall out of the ring. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the screws securing the assembly to the recliner and pull out the assembly and unplug it from the control box.
