Hello Sandi,

Thank you for sending over the pictures. They were very helpful in confirming the correct replacement.

Based on the photos, the Lippert Replacement RV Slide-Out Venture Actuator with 18:1 Motor, 24" Long # LC119128 will work as a replacement for your original Kwikee actuator.

Your existing unit is an older Kwikee through-frame electric slide-out actuator. Lippert has since updated these systems to use Venture-motor assemblies, and the # LC119128 matches your original actuator in design, motor ratio, and 24-inch travel. You will need to reuse your existing mounting brackets when installing the new actuator.

What kind of camper is this on, and what adventure are you looking most forward to this year?

Thank you, this is on a 2007 Itasca Sunova 35J motorhome. I discovered the acme nut was slipping inside the tube and it is not accessible to replace.

@SandiT Very nice Class A motorhome. It would be great if we could always replace just the broken part, but unfortunately that is not always the case. I hope 2026 brings you many great adventures!

One additional question, will I need to change out the control panel inside the coach to run the slide?

@Sandi Great question. No, you will not need to change out the control panel inside the coach. The # LC119128 actuator uses the same type of 12-volt electric operation as your original Kwikee actuator, so it will work with your existing slide-out switch and control system.
