Can Roof Rack Tracks Be Used With the Rhino-Rack Vortex Crossbars On a 2014 Toyota Camry?

Question:

I have a 2014 Toyota Camry with a no existing rails or crossbars. Also, there is no factory options for a roof rack. I really like the idea of installing tracks on the roof for the cleaner look and the idea of using different accessories by moving the crossbars. Also, I like the permanent install. The problem is I cant find a lot online about these track systems being installed on cars. Ive seen your videos and information with the Rhino Rack track system installed on the Honda Odyssey. Will this track system along with item #RRRLT600 and #RRVA118S-2 work well on my 2014 Toyota Camry? The only thing I noticed is the roof contour may be an issue? Please let me know what your professional thoughts are? Thanks!

Yes you can absolutely use the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars - Aluminum - Silver # RRVA118B-2 with the Rhino-Rack Quick Mount Legs for Vortex Aero Crossbars - RTC and RT Roof Rack Tracks # RRRLT600 with a set of tracks like the Rhino-Rack RT-Style Roof Rack Tracks - Rivet Mount # RRRTS547.

The only caveat is, you'll just need to pick a set of tracks that won't be too long for your roof, and you'll have to be okay drilling into your roof because this is the only way the tracks would install.

The contour will also not be an issue either as these track systems are designed to installed onto contoured roofs.

The tracks I've linked are 47" long, however if you needed a different size just let me know and I'd be happy to get that for you.
