How to Tell if You Have the Curt Double Lock or EZr Gooseneck Hitch On a 2015 GMC Sierra 3500

Question:

How do I know if I have the ezr model goose neck or just the the Double lock. I bought the truck use and I just purchased the curtx5 for the double lock and I was told it might not work on the ezr model. I know they havent shipped my order yet and can cancel still think.

The center sections are different on the Curt Double Lock part # C607-604 and EZr Double Lock Gooseneck Hitch part # C611-624 for a 2015 GMC Sierra 3500. The Curt Double Lock has multiple slots for the safety chain u-bolts and the EZr does not so if you look under the hitch then you should be able to tell which you have.
