When the time comes to move or align your unhitched trailer, the Trailer Valet MV PRO is at your service. Instead of driving your vehicle to your trailer, use this heavy-duty dolly to drive your trailer to your hitch. This saves you the time and frustration of having to repeatedly back up your vehicle to align the hitch ball with your trailer's coupler.
The Trailer Valet MV PRO also makes it easy to park or move your trailer into tight spots and to position it in a garage. It allows you to take corners and make slight adjustments in steering while the trailer is moving. No more attempting to back the trailer in with your vehicle.
The Trailer Valet MV PRO is easy to operate. You can either use the included hand crank to operate the chain drive system, or you can make operation even easier by powering the drive with your 18-volt drill (not included). The drive system activates the dual positraction wheels. Both wheels are engaged while the Trailer Valet is moving straight - in either forward or reverse. When you need to make a turn, one of the wheels disengages and freewheels, allowing the other wheel to move the trailer. All you have to do is power the drive system and direct the Trailer Valet MV PRO with the steering handle. When you straighten the steering handle back up, the other wheel reengages and the Trailer Valet MV PRO drives straight again.
The Trailer Valet MV PRO also includes an auto-brake function that acts as a wheel chock to keep your trailer in place. When the steering handle is raised up, the drive system is engaged. The handle automatically falls down when it is released, bringing the wheels to an immediate halt. This safety feature prevents your trailer from running away from you. The handle also locks when down, keeping your trailer level and secure for storage, though wheel chocks should still be used.
The solid rubber, never-flat tires on this dolly outperform inflatable tires, and hold up better under the weight of your trailer. Deep treads in the tire surface give you better traction on gravel, dirt, and grass. But you will get the best results when using this dolly on well-packed surfaces or pavement.
Unless you’re using it on concrete or asphalt, this will disappoint you. Very well made unit, with high quality parts and material. It will not get sufficient traction on any surface aside from concrete or asphalt. All information sources say this, but it’s a buy and try situation. I would have sent it back, but not due to the quality. It’s not suited for my needs, and I’d have lost money returning it. If there’s any question about this moving a 10k lb trailer in anything other than concrete or asphalt, do not buy this. Otherwise, it’s a great, well-built piece. Side note: the unit should have a restraint built in to keep the dolly from walking away from the trailer tongue and risking damage to the coupler. If the coupler and dolly don’t maintain alignment, you can damage the coupler very quickly and easily. I held this in place with a chain and binder to keep the dolly vertical under the coupler. None of this matters, though, as it never got enough traction to move the trailer. 10k lb trailer with 1100 on the tongue. It almost moved it, but slipped on the surface. Worked beautifully on pavement.

Bought it for my 10,000 gvwr travel trailer. Works great. Easy to park and very stable.
It did not move my 8800 pound travel trailer very hard to move. Wheels were just spinning. And my driveway percentage was 4% incline I had to re-hitch up my camper with my vehicle and box up the trailer, valet MV Pro, and called customer support letting them know that I was going to send it back I really wanted to keep my trailer valet because it’s very hard to hitch up to my trailer in my driveway. My driveway is pretty flat.
I have not yet used the Trailer Valet but, it looks to be everything anyone would want for moving a trailer around in tight quarters. I have an 8 ft. wide trailer to move into a storage unit that has an 8 ft. 8 in. wide door. The Trailer Valet: 1. Didn't break the bank, 2. Does not have tires that would need air, 3. Does not have a battery that would need charging. 4. Is powered by an 18 volt drill which many of us already have. 5. If you need to stop and check your clearence, just stop, put the handle down and the brake is on. Its not going to roll anywhere. 6. It is very portable. Throw it in the trunk or put in the corner of your storage unit to use in a few months when you pull out. 7. The capacity is an amazing 12,000 lbs. and 1,200 lbs. tongue weight!

P.S. The thread on the ball is metric - 32MM dia. x 1.5MM pitch. A 1-1/4"-12 shank ball will not fit.

Driveway: Concrete mostly 1 degree incline but sometimes a bit greater with a few cracks
I tried out our new Trailer Valet MV Pro today and was very impressed with how easily it connected to our trailer and how much easier it was to park our trailer in a tight spot. My wife says this dolly wonderful as it removes all the stress in getting our trailer into the tight space beside our house. It easily moved the trailer up and down the slight incline with no difficulty. It felt like the trailer moved easily under total control at all times.
DEFINETLY watch etrailers video on how to use and connect. I would not have installed and tightened the ball mount before connecting the wheel assembly if I had not watched the video and it is essential to watch the video before using!
My only negative is a may lose some of my skills backing my trailer into a ridiculously tight space.
Love It, So Helpful For A Disabled Man For Moving His Trailers Safely!
Order process was easy, item came in two days, and was exactly as described. Worked perfectly for my travel trailer. I used the hand crank instead of the drill attachment, but once I purchase a slightly more powerful battery operated drill, I intend to use that. Hand crank worked well in the mean time. Had one email exchange with etrailer customer service to verify the 2 5/16th ball cap was included, and they were quick and responsive to my question.
